Privacy Policy

Watson Legacy Group LLC · Your private entries stay private.

This policy explains what E-Motions™ collects, how it is used, and the controls you have. Watson Legacy Group LLC is the data controller.

The core promise

Your private entries are visible only to you. Content is shared with your partner only when you explicitly choose to share it — enforced at the database level, not merely by a screen setting. We do not sell your personal or relationship data, and we do not use your private content for advertising.

The four privacy levels

• Private — only you. Never shown to your partner.
• Share-ready — you asked for help with it; still private until you approve sharing.
• Shared — you approved it for your partner.
• System insight — generalized patterns that never expose the words of a private entry.

What we collect

Account information (email), your check-ins and entries at the privacy level you set, and standard technical logs. We do not require your real name.

AI processing

When you use an AI feature, the relevant content is processed to generate a response. A partner's private entries are never included in AI context shown to the other partner. We do not use your content to train AI models by default; any future training program would require your separate, revocable, opt-in consent.

Analytics

We use privacy-safe analytics limited to generic events (for example, "check-in completed"). Journal text, conflict descriptions, private messages, and crisis disclosures are never sent to analytics.

Service providers

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Anthropic — powers AI features.
• Whop — payments; processes your payment and contact details under Whop's own policy.
• Brevo — transactional email.
• Vercel — hosting and standard technical logs.

Your controls

You can change what's shared, disconnect a partner instantly, export your data, and delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your private data; some records may be retained as required for legal and tax purposes.

Sensitive situations

Safety features generate no partner-visible record and no notification. When resources are shown, we record only that they were shown — never the words you wrote.

Voice, sharing, and email

Read-aloud and spoken page intros use your device’s own speech engine — no audio is recorded and nothing you hear is sent to us. If you choose to join The Legacy List, your email address is sent to Brevo (our email provider) to deliver Watson Legacy Group updates; every email includes one-click unsubscribe. The welcome video, when present, is embedded using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player.
